Curiosity meets the art of engineering
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming three dedicated students from the vocational baccalaureate school in Brugg to Evodrop. As part of their final thesis, they embarked on an exciting scientific journey: researching innovative methods for reducing limescale in drinking water.
With great enthusiasm and an inquisitive spirit of research, the schoolgirls immersed themselves in the fascinating world of water treatment. In intensive discussions, they asked clever questions about how modern water filter systems work and analyzed how limescale deposits can be reduced in a sustainable way.
A breakthrough: limescale protection with malic acid
Their practical approach was particularly impressive: together with our engineers, they developed a functional prototype of a limescale protection filter - based on our innovative malic acid technology. The results speak for themselves: an efficient, resource-saving filter that prevents limescale deposits in a simple way. Proof that research and creativity can go hand in hand!
Promoting science, shaping the future
At Evodrop, we are convinced that innovation begins with education. That's why we are passionate about supporting young talents and encouraging them in their scientific careers. Projects like this are inspiring milestones - not only for the students, but also for us as a company that promotes research and sustainable technologies.
