It all began with the fate
of our founder, Dr. h.c. Eng. Fabio Hüther
The chance of survival was 50%. The positive healing process encouraged him to give his life meaning and to get involved with and for other people.
2003
As a teenager, at the age of fourteen, Fabio founded his first own NGO called "Bee The Change" to bring his cause to life and positively influence as many people as possible.
2009
A second pivotal moment was the loss of his African godchild to cholera caused by contaminated drinking water. 'That was when "Bee The Change" became the recognized association "Umuntu Movement",
2016
Fabio began to set up his first aid projects, primarily in Africa. The aim is to help those in need to purify drinking water, provide food through sustainable permaculture and promote long-term tree planting of crops.,
2016-today
In parallel to the aid projects, Fabio pursued his engineering studies and worked on a completely new type of filter technology. As a result, the Umuntu membrane for filtration and the limescale protection systems without salt were developed.
2017-2019
Progress in research and development continued to grow. This progress was to be safeguarded and Evodrop AG was created in December 2019. The brand identity was renewed and the technologies were further secured in the new corporate strategy. Another concern was to separate the water treatment technologies from the social benefits.
2019-today

Prof. Dr. Alexander J.B. Zehnder
Alexander J. B. Zehnder is one of the world's leading water and environmental researchers. As former President of ETH Zurich, Director of the water research institute Eawag and founder of the "Triple Bottom Line - One Planet Approach", he has shaped the global discourse on sustainable resource management. His scientific work and strategic leadership roles have made him a key figure in modern environmental biotechnology.
Ulrich Bergweiler
Ulrich Bergweiler combines decades of experience in international water and filtration technology with a keen sense of sustainable innovation and brand management. As former CEO of ACLARIS Water Innovations and Director Brand Marketing International at BRITA SE, he strengthens Evodrop with strategic vision and global industry expertise.
Peter Jäggi
Peter Jäggi is a qualified architect HTL and holds an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen. As former Head of Real Estate at Swisscanto, he has extensive experience in strategic real estate development and portfolio management.
