Thanks to the specially developed and patented malic acid complex in granular form in the filter cartridge, the EVOdescale guarantees a limescale protection rate of up to 94.2% without the use of salt, waste water or electricity.

The malic acid that is used

In a comprehensive study by Dartsch Scientific GmbH, the effect of the Evodrop system was examined at cellular level. The malic acid used. Proof of the effect on the body was provided.

The tests we carried out with cell cultures proved that, at the cellular level, tap water underwent a considerable improvement in quality after passing through the filter system with the malic acid granulate cartridge from Evodrop AG. This was demonstrated in intestinal epithelial cells by the significant increase in regeneration and integrity of the intestinal wall barrier and in inflammation-mediating cells by the reduction in radical formation.

• Eurotest Control Laboratory: This reputable laboratory has confirmed the conformity of the filtered water with the highest legal drinking water standards. Both physico-chemical and microbiological tests have been carried out to ensure that the water meets the strict requirements of the Drinking Water Ordinance.
• FDA and ROHS certification: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has classified all components used in the Evodrop system as safe. This means that no harmful substances are released into the water.
• Swiss laboratory: The filter efficiency of our EVOFilter drinking water filter has been confirmed by a renowned Swiss laboratory. These tests have shown that the Evodrop membranes reliably filter all pollutants completely out of the water, even nitrates and chlorothalonil, including limescale, pesticides, hormones and microplastics, nanoplastics and PFAS.
• CTI testing: The CTI is one of the world's largest testing, inspection and certification institutes with over 13,000 employees, 160 laboratories in over 90 global locations: IN the CTI laboratory, Evodrop's limescale protection was verified with an exceptionally high limescale protection rate of 94.2%. This result underlines the suitability of the system for effective limescale treatment without removing the important minerals in the water.
• The decalcification was tested by the accredited laboratory of the DVGWS. DVGW laboratory quote: In summary, it can be stated that the tests carried out in accordance with DVGW worksheet W 512 led to a significant reduction in limescale deposits in the test boilers. A calculated effectiveness factor of fW: 1.00 represents the highest possible value.
• MOCA: Is the largest certification for food in Europe. All materials used in the Evodrop system are certified in accordance with the MOCA directive. This means that they do not transfer any substances that are harmful to health or the environment into the water.
• SRCMB: The European Laboratory for Medical Biophysics (Scientific Research Center of Medical Biophysics) has proven that Evodrop membranes can filter particles down to 0.55 nanometers. Particularly noteworthy is the effective removal of PFAS (per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances), which makes Evodrop one of the most powerful systems on the market.
