Chemical in drinking water: wells shut down

Following the discovery of a chemical in the drinking water, two wells in the town of Neuötting have been switched off. Neuötting and Altötting are now being supplied from other wells, said the operations manager of the water supply for the Altötting area, Alois Wieser, when asked on Monday. Bayerischer Rundfunk had first reported on the shutdown.
